Trans Industrial’s Corporate/Industrial Services are structured to suit business’  specific requirements.  The courses and services we provide are designed in a  Client Specific/Site Specific manner to ensure proper knowledge and understanding is achieved.  Our managerial backgrounds in industry allow  us to properly understand the product and services of businesses and its relation and dedication to safety in the workplace.

 

 

Trans Industrial Safety Training can provide businesses with the following services:

  • Assist implementation and maintenance of company safety policies and procedures to meet provincial/federal Occupational Health & Safety requirements
  • Development of company Occupational Health & Safety Program
  • Provide mandatory Occupational Health & Safety training courses designed to support compliance with the provincial/federal Occupational Health & Safety Act and supporting regulations
  • New Hire Program (Complete OH&S training package for new employees)
  • Conduct facility audits to ensure compliance of all National Codes
  • Assist with ongoing compliance with the outlined legislation through routine scheduled follow-ups
  • Identifying and controlling hazards in the workplace (risk management)
  • Identifying people and resources required to deal with emergencies

  • Development plans to investigate accidents, dangerous occurrences, and refusals to work

  • Motorcycle Rider Training - 21 hour program aimed towards both the experienced and inexperienced mtorcycle rider. 

MOBILE TRAINING CENTER

Trans Industrial Safety Training's Mobile Training Center allows us to service our customers, on-site, anywhere in Western Canada.  Our mobile facility is equipped with a fully functional classroom, kitchen area, and confined space simulator.

Courses & Training Programs

 
Motorcycle Rider Training
This 21 hour SGI Accredited motorcycle training program is aimed towards both the experienced and inexperienced motorcycle rider.  This course is offered during days, evenings and weekends.
 
 
 
H2S Alive (Hydrogen Sulphide)
 
This 1 day "Enform" accredited course teaches individuals on properties, detection, location & health hazards of hydrogen sulphide, initial response strategies, CPR, respiratory and protective equipment.
 
 
 
 
 
Fall Arrest (Enform & OSSA)
 
The "Enform" accredited 2 day program and/or the "OSSA" accredited 1 day program teaches individuals on properties regarding fall protection fundamentals, achor system, hardware, harnesses, designing a system, special situations, equipment care, rescue and practical exercise.

Ground Disturbance Level I & II
 
 This 1 day program enables students to understand hazards associated with a ground disturbance and prevent damage to underground facilities. 
 
 
 
 
 
Confined Space Awareness, Entry & Rescue (Level I & II)
 
 This 1 day course is designed to explain a code of practice, recognize a confined space, identify and control confined space hazards, entry plan, job plan, preparing personel for entry and rescue, permits and hazard assessments.
 
 
 
 
 
First Aid/CPR (Level A, B, C)
 
This 2 day "St. Johns Ambulance" accredited program teaches individuals regarding principles and practices of safety oriented first aid and safety, artificial respiration, choking, wounds and bleeding, unconsciousness and fainting, shock, injuries to bones and joints, eye injuries, burns and scalds, environmental illness and injuries.
 
 
 
  
 
Transportation of Dangerous Goods Course (TDG)
 
This 1/2 day course teaches individuals on all properties regarding classifications,  packaging/loading requirements for various means of containment, documentation, marks, labels, placarding, emergency responses, and schedules.

POWER MOBILE EQUIPMENT (PME) 
Forklift Operator & Safety Course
 
This 1 day program teaches individuals on duties of suppliers/employers/employees, OH&S training requirements and applicable legislation, principles of balance/stability/capacity, importance of pre-operation inspections, safety guidelines for operating lift trucks, safe load handling tecniques, and safe practices for fueling.
 
Skid Steer Operator & Safety Course 
 This 1 day program teaches individuals on duties of suppliers/employers/employees, OH&S training requirements and applicable legislation, principles of balance/stability/capacity, importance of pre-operation inspections, safety guidelines for operating Skid Steers, safe load handling tecniques, and safe practices for fueling.
